  • Photographer / Videographer* – Put together multi-media productions to help promote the ministry of sending Brazilian missionaries around the world.

  • Compassion Ministry/church plant - Assist missionaries in planting a community center/church in an impoverished village on the outskirts of the city of LaPaz. VBS, feeding the hungry, distributing clothing, etc.  This is a new ministry initiative.
  • Construction workers - Use your construction skills to develop a ranch/camp that is impacting believers and the community all throughout Baja California Sur. Every trade is needed.  Serve as a team, or individually.  We are currently building a dorm, staff house, infrastructure, horse corrals, etc.

  • Ministry Intern - Serve as an intern at Rancho el Camino.  You will be exposed to every aspect of cross-cultural missions.  This is a great next step if you are considering missions as a vocation.

  • Computer and Web Tech – Help with web page and computer related needs.  Update computers, setup backup processes, and teach computer skills to missionaries.  Ideal candidate should have advanced understanding of PC’s, network/internet connectivity, and Windows/Office applications.  If possible, help update TEAM France website by gathering information and compiling a summary with pictures.   • Children’s Day Camp Worker* – Build relationships and share the love of Jesus with children by helping at a day camp for children ages 6 to 14.  Teach English, arts and crafts, or coordinate and lead sports and games.  Ideal candidate should have some cross-cultural experience.  Some knowledge of Italian is helpful but not required.
  • TEFL Teacher for Children's Day Camp* – Teach English at two-week, full-immersion English day camps for children.  Training or experience in teaching ESL is needed.
Russia

  • Summer Camp Workers – Help set up and run a week-long summer camp for a small church in Krasnodar.  These camps take place in the woods and involve setting up and living in tents.  Could include an overnight mountain biking trip.

  • Media Specialist – Assist in preparing weekly TV program and developing a website.  Intermediate Spanish language skills required.
  • English Outreach Ministry – Assist in preparing and running English and other activities for kids.  Activities are used to build relationships where the love and message of Jesus might be shared.  Knowledge of Spanish is helpful, but not required.  Previous teaching of ESL is helpful, but not required. Love of people, especially kids, is required!
Sweden
Dates: June – August

  • Summer Outreach Worker –  Assist with summer outreach to various age and cultural groups in Stockholm.  Minister to secularized youth and young adults in the central city districts with a view to starting new cells and even churches, through creative events, music, summer café and personal relationships.  Interact with people from many different language groups in a large multicultural church and its sister congregations. Assist in new church works in Gothenburg and Västerås. Swim in crystal clear water right downtown!

  • Young Adults Camp Helper* - Help with a young adult camp for 16 to 25 year-olds called Week of Transformation.  Seeking people to help with lectures and/or games and relationship building.

  • English Conversation Group Leader – Teach English to children and young adults.  Facilitate conversation groups to build relationships in this Muslim nation.  Must have ESL training.

  • Cultural Learner / Friendship Evangelism – Develop friendships with nationals, learn about their culture and beliefs and respectfully share your culture and beliefs as well.

  • ESL Teacher to Muslim Students – Teach English in a formal school to help maintain a Christian presence in this dark, unreached Muslim country.  Must have TESOL/TEFL training and be ready for a challenge.

  • English Teacher to Expatriates – Provide an intensive ESL program to expatriates through the church.  Help people of various nationalities to improve their basic English skills.  Provide a basis for communicating a witness to faith in Christ and making an impact on the lives of people in a short time.

  • Women’s Ministry Volunteers – Work with Muslim women on parenting skills, cooking workshops, and personal discipleship at a local Christian center.
  • Children’s Ministry Volunteers – Work with the children of the moms who come to the women’s ministry program and the center.

Asia

Japan
Dates:  May – August

  • Missionary Trainee – Teach English and/or use the arts to assist a vibrant Japanese church in planting six new churches.  Work under the leadership of an experienced church planter and study Japanese.
  • English Language Teacher – Assist a missionary/Japanese team in establishing a new church by making contacts through teaching English conversation classes to adults and children.
  • Guesthouse Host and Hostess – Manage TEAM’s 20-bed guesthouse in Tokyo, serving and welcoming missionaries and others from around the world.
  • Outreach Assistant using Music – Provide concentrated outreach through music in coffee houses.  Provide extended outreach through music to thousands of Japanese that gather in a resort town in the mountains of central Japan.

Papua
Dates:  4 weeks – 3 months
Cost: $4800 - $6000

  • Church Planter* - Shadow a missionary on the field and work together to plant a church among nominal Christians and Muslims.  Preach, teach, do evangelism, disciple local believers, and potentially work at a youth camp in the city of Merauke.  
  • English Teacher* - Build relationships and serve the community by teaching formal and informal English classes at a community center in a remote town.  Curriculum will be provided.
  • Computer Teacher* - Build relationships and serve the community by teaching formal and informal computer classes at a community center in a remote town.  Curriculum will be provided or you may bring your own if you prefer.  Classes will be taught through a translator.
  • Medical Worker (Nurse or Doctor) - Serve in the Merauke Community Center which has a basic clinic set up in order to provide free medical consultations to the community. The medical needs are great here, and medical workers provide an excellent opportunity for us to provide holistic ministry to our community. An understanding of tropical medicine will help greatly.

Taiwan
Dates: 2 weeks – 3 months (June – August)

  • Camp Workers* – Build relationships and assist in camp ministry with your gifts and talents.  Lead and participate in games and activities with youth.

East Asia A

  • Prayer Walkers - Come as a team of 2-6 people to intercede for the marginalized, teaching, counseling, and minority work in urban and rural areas of this East Asian region. This ministry is an essential support to the long-term work in this region. Ideal situation is a group that would be willing to return for such vital work each year.

  • Vision Trip* – Learn about doing ministry among some of the least reached in East Asia. (For individuals interested in long-term church planting.)
  • Outdoor Sports Team (spring or summer) – Assist an on-site team to explore outdoor sports activities as a base for developing a teamwork training business.  Create a business plan for this project.

  • Business Professionals, Interns, IT Professionals* – Help at an emerging company with a business-as-mission focus.  Cooperate with Great Commission workers in the restricted access area to plant a church among an unevangelized minority in East Asia.

North Asia A

  • Camp English Teacher – Teach English in a rural summer camp in Northeast Asia. Build meaningful relationships with campers as you enjoy creation through a number of adventure activities. Share the hope and joy you have with campers in deed and word. Some teaching experience preferred. Must be at least 20 years old unless accompanied by an adult.

  • Prayer and Vision Tour - Get acquainted with China's culture, its people, and opportunities for ministry. Study, pray and share with other tour members, and participate directly with missionaries in their work.

South Asia A

  • Script Writer, Video Professionals – Help to develop pre-evangelistic and discipleship video tools for Muslims in South Asia.
  • Veterinarian – Use your veterinary skills to conduct clinics in rural areas.
  • Dentist – Use dentistry to minister to practical needs of medical staff and patients, to build bridges in the local community. Assist in the hospital dental unit.
  • English/Computer Teacher – Teach English or computer skills in schools or in the community.

  • Conversational English Teacher* – Teach conversational English to female national teachers at a Christian girls’ high school.  (Women only.)

South Asia C
Dates: 2 weeks – 3 months

  • Ophthalmologist – Assist in the continued development and implementation of existing training program for ophthalmic physician residents in tertiary eye hospital sites. Must have experienced teaching in English.
  • ESL Teacher (1-3 months) – Help ensure that nationals have the English skills to participate in international level communication, relationships, education, commerce, and holistic development. Need degree or equivalent.  Certificate for teaching ESL.  Must be fluent in English.
  • Media Officer (3 months) - Support the partner organization and its projects in developing necessary, good quality media and projects for publicity.

  • Anesthesiologist/Nurse Anesthetist – Using anesthesia to meet practical needs and build bridges in the local community. (3 – 6 months)
  • Ultrasonographer – Use ultrasound technology to minister to practical needs and build bridges in the local community.
  • Dentist (1 – 4 weeks) – Use dentistry to minister to practical needs of medical staff and patients, to build bridges in the local community. Assist in the hospital dental unit. 
  • Physical Therapist (3 - 12 months) – Use physical therapy to minister to practical needs and build bridges in the local community. Evaluate, treat, educate, and/or follow-up with care for things like spinal cord injuries, burns, wounds, orthopedic problems (trauma and reconstruction), neurological lesions, congenital deformities, children with developmental delays, neuromuscular weakness, wasting, contractures, thoracic and pulmonary deficiencies, general weakness, and post-operative or post-delivery PT care. Provide supervision and in-service training of the PT Department staff if appropriate. Coordinate the ongoing treatment of patients.
  • Female Midwife (3 – 12 months) – Serve in daily OB rounds for mothers and babies, antenatal clinics, provide information for physicians, nursing and midwifery staff training, and in evangelism.
  • 4th year Medical Students* (1 – 3 months) – Participate in daily ward rounds, outpatient clinics, surgery, and emergency call under staff physician supervision. Develop skills in history-taking, physical examination, lab and x-ray evaluation and diagnosis in a rural hospital setting. Study diseases and conditions encountered. Develop skills in procedures (e.g. lumbar puncture, suturing, incision and drainage). Be a model of Christian compassion in attitudes and actions with patients and staff.

  • Ophthalmologist – Assist in the continued development and implementation of existing training program for ophthalmic physician residents in tertiary eye hospital sites. Must have experienced teaching in English.

  • Speech Therapist (flexible, Sept – June) – Work with persons with disabilities, especially children, to help them communicate verbally.  Reduce the negative impact of disability in this province.  Must have qualifications to work as a speech therapist.
  • Physical Therapist Trainer – Upgrade the training of staff at a physical therapy center.  Must have physical therapy certification and 5 years experience, plus an ability to teach.
  • Orthopedic Surgeon – Perform reconstructive surgeries on persons with disabilities, as well as provide training for doctors in the local hospital as requested.
  • Teacher for Expat Children Grades K-6 (Jan - June 2012) – Teach in a multi-age classroom, allowing parents to serve in projects benefiting this South Asian people group.  Must have teaching qualifications.
  • Media Officer - Support the partner organization and its projects in developing necessary, good quality media and projects for publicity.

  • Community Based Rehabilitation Developer – Develop sustainable, community based rehabilitation services.  Should be experienced in teaching in English.  Must have experience or a qualification/degree in inclusive education of children with disabilities, preferably children with developmental delay.

  • Volunteer for Daycare Center for Street Children – Look after children up to age 6 in a daycare center.  The center provides breakfast and lunch for the kids.  There are opportunities to teach older children English and Computer knowledge in the afternoons.

Cost: $5200 - $13,000

  • English Teacher at Bible College – Teach English to Bible school students in a 2-year theology degree program.  A sound knowledge in English gives them opportunities to make good use of the many resources available and is a requirement for them to move on to the BTh program offered by the college. This position could involve curriculum development, as there is currently no curriculum in place .  ESL/TESL training would be of great value, but is not required.  Individual could also participate in weekend church ministries (youth, Sunday school, and/or worship).
