Dear friends of TEAM, Thursday, July 21, at about 4:30 PM, our friend, brother, and teammate, Ross McCordic went to be with the Lord. The Global Leadership Team was at the end of a two-day off-site meeting when I noticed that Ross hadn’t said anything for a while. I asked him how he was doing, and he said, “My chest is feeling a little ‘funky.’” We asked what ‘funky’ meant, and he said that he had pains in his chest and left arm. We decided to take him to the hospital immediately, and Dave Haas offered to drive him there. Ross was conversing with Dave all the way to the hospital, but while attempting to get out of the car into a wheel chair, he had a heart attack from which he did not recover. The hospital staff gave immediate CPR treatment, but to no avail. We are all shocked and stunned. Please pray for Dawn, their three sons, Kyle, Josh, and David, and for us as we all try to navigate the next few days, weeks, and months. A memorial service is being planned at First Evangelical Church in Memphis, TN. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, July 30th from 12-2 PM in the Soltau building. The following day the celebration of his life will be at 2:30 PM at First Evangelical Church, 735 Ridge Lake Blvd. Memphis TN 38120, on Sunday, July 31. Also, a memorial service with the TEAM family will be held Thursday, July 28th, at Wheaton College in the Edward A Coray Alumni Gymnasium (part of the Todd M Beamer Student Center). This service is in conjunction with the closing session of TEAM’s REAP conference, beginning at 6:45PM with a presentation from the REAP children’s program. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the family for a family educational fund; or to TEAM, PO Box 969, Wheaton, IL 60187, for the ANNOOR Sanatorium. Further information regarding these memorial services is available on the Hultgren Funeral Home website at www.hultgrenfh.com. The website also offers a guest book for those who would like to write notes to the family. For your convenience, here is a direct link to Ross’ obituary page. In the grace and peace of the Lord Jesus, Charlie Davis International Director - TEAM
