The Timothy Network is a carefully selected group of volunteers who invest several weeks or more per year serving TEAM missionaries and their families by providing care on location. By repeated visits to a particular ministry area, each Timothy Network caregiver builds relationships and ministers through listening, encouraging, godly counsel and prayer. The goal is to see every TEAM missionary and family healthy, resilient, and effective in life and ministry.

• Missionaries benefit from regular face to face support, encouragement and wise counsel.
• Missionary Care is most effective in the context of an ongoing relationship with the caregiver.
• Caregivers need specific gifts, experience, maturity and training to be effective in caring for missionaries.
• Caregivers must be characterized by grace and humility.
